A safer, expert-led migration from JSS to the Content SDK — combining deep Sitecore engineering experience with AI-powered efficiency.
The Content SDK now underpins the SitecoreAI stack. If you're still running JSS on Sitecore CMS (previously XM Cloud), now is the time to plan your migration.
The Content SDK is the future of SitecoreAI's front-end experience.
Key benefits:
- Aligned to SitecoreAI — Built for the modern Sitecore experience platform.
- Design Studio support — Adopt Sitecore's new design system and component library.
- Faster developer experience — Simplified development workflows and performance improvements.
- Next.js App Router (v1.3.1+) — Support for modern routing and rendering patterns.
Watch how we break down the architectural shifts and developer experience improvements introduced by the Content SDK.
JSS 22.x end of maintenance creates both operational risk and a strategic opportunity to modernise your front-end foundation.
Support for JSS 22.x ends in June 2026 for XM Cloud and SitecoreAI. JSS 23.x will be released in March/April 2026 but will not support SitecoreAI. To remain secure, supported and aligned with Sitecore's roadmap, enterprises must move to the Content SDK.
This isn't simply a technical upgrade, it's a foundational shift that enables the next generation of headless front-end capabilities in SitecoreAI.
Planning now reduces operational risk, avoids last-minute pressure, and ensures continuity across your digital estate.

- Recommendations informed by our enterprise migration experience
This dramatically reduces manual analysis effort, lowers risk, and speeds up project delivery.
Our AI-powered CLI tool analyses a full JSS solution in minutes — generating a complete migration plan, file-by-file, to accelerate your move to the Content SDK.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Assessment, planning, execution and hyper-care, everything required to migrate from JSS to the Content SDK.
The Next.js App Router was introduced in Content SDK v1.2.0 as a beta capability, with full, production-ready support from v1.3.1 onwards. Versions prior to v1.3.1 should be treated as beta for App Router support.
Typically 2–4 weeks, depending on complexity.
Yes, the Content SDK is designed specifically for Sitecore CMS (XM Cloud) and forms part of the SitecoreAI stack.
Hit "Get started" to book a no obligation assessment. We'll get in touch, have a chat and provide a fixed-cost proposal.
Yes. Your development and operations teams will be invited to structured knowledge-transfer sessions at strategic points in the migration timeline. These sessions are planned with you during the discovery and planning phase and ensure your teams understand the new architecture, workflows and development patterns introduced by the Content SDK.
Hyper-care covers 10 business days (2 weeks) of support following the production release. Support is provided during standard office hours and applies exclusively to issues affecting the front-end applications that are a direct consequence of the migration work.
Yes, self-hosted platforms (Sitecore XM/XP) will continue to be supported with JSS 23.x, which will be released in March/April 2026 but will not support SitecoreAI.
Terms and conditions for fixed-cost migrations
Sitecore CMS requirement
Customers must have an active SitecoreAI subscription and an existing Sitecore CMS (XM Cloud) based solution.
(The migration service covers front-end applications only, not platform onboarding, content or infrastructure migration.)
Single-project scope
The fixed-cost offer applies to a single project within your Sitecore cloud organisation.
A project is defined as a single Sitecore CMS project with its associated environments, content model and front-end applications.
Front-end applications
The fixed-cost migration includes unlimited front-end applications within the defined project scope, provided they are part of the same Sitecore CMS project and share the same content model.
Multiple projects
If you have multiple Sitecore projects, each project can be costed individually.
Multi-project migrations can be delivered as a programme of work upon request.
Exceptional complexity
In rare cases where a solution falls outside indicative tier criteria, we will provide a custom proposal.
